Last Updated on 25 March 2010 Written by Lauren Moody

The Oak Hill Merit Scholarship Program was created for highly qualified students who will stand out as scholars and leaders among the talented Oak Hill student body. Scholarship recipients receive awards of up to 80% of the annual Oak Hill tuition based on demonstrated academic excellence (an equivalent of up to $12,000 annually).
This is not a need-based scholarship.
The scholarship is an institutional gift that recognizes students’ achievement and potential; the Scholarship Committee is highly selective.
To apply, a student must be:
- Entering grade K-12
- Inquisitive and motivated, and maintaining at least a 3.65 GPA (or equivalent)
- An academic achiever
- Someone who fills his or her free time with the arts, volunteering, clubs, teams, and service
- A new applicant for Oak Hill that meets the admission requirements
Recipients will be able to keep their scholarship for the duration of their education at Oak Hill so long as they maintain at least a 3.65 GPA; participate actively and positively in the school community; serve as a role model to peers; seek leadership roles in the student body; uphold commendable behavior on campus and in the Lane County community.
