Latin I - This course focuses on grammar, syntax, and vocabulary. The relationship between Latin and English, including English etymology is stressed.

Latin II - The second year of Latin reviews grammar learned in first year and completes the structural grammar. Increasingly difficult passages from ancient authors are introduced and discussed linguistically and historically.
