Classics and Composition II - Students in this course read an eclectic selection of world literature from antiquity to the present. Much of class time is spent discussing literature, refining critical thinking, and helping students to develop their own voices as writers. Student leadership in class discussions and research skills are emphasized. Representative texts include: Kafka’s The Metamorphosis, Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex and Shakespearean selections.
