Economics (AP and regular) 1 semester - Topics include current events, fiscal policy, the Federal Reserve, international issues, economic indicators, and personal financial concepts such as the importance of interest rates, saving, taxes, and budgeting. The AP economics class prepares the students for the macroeconomics AP test. The class explores a more in depth model of the US economy, with a focus on relating that model to current events.
