World
History - Students will explore a variety
of human cultures and study the roots of the world’s greatest civilizations, including the
major world religions (Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam). They begin by examining Stone Age cultures and the earliest civilizations in
Mesopotamia, Egypt, China and India.
Students
examine the time period from 1500 AD to the present,
focusing on the rise of the world powers.
