All History courses are designed to help students understand both the past and the present world in which they live. With careful guidance from their teachers, students learn to think clearly, read perceptively and write extensively.   The sequence of history courses in the high school is designed to satisfy college entrance requirements as well as to give the student a valuable background in geography, world history and American History.
