on an intuitive basis, is studied extensively. Triangles, polygons, circles, area and perimeter are covered. The primary textbook is Exploring Your World by Silver Burdett & Ginn. Other sources of activities include: Problem
Solving in Mathematics, Middle Grades Math Project, The Oregon Mathematics Teacher, Math in
the Mind’s Eye and teacher generated materials.
