Beginning Spanish - (Grades 6-8) In this course, students learn the basic grammatical structures of Spanish. The textbook is Voces and Vistas which is a thematically based text using everyday situations to introduce vocabulary, dialogue, grammar and culture. Students are frequently asked to perform dialogues based on presented information and to write short compositions on familiar topics. The program also includes an audio section in which students listen to native speakers from different Spanish speaking areas. Students also learn about the various cultures of the Spanish speaking world.
