Second and Third Grade -
Students
learn math through a combination of explorations and investigations.
Second graders work on mastering addition and subtraction facts, building strategies to
solve problems, identifying and constructing geometric shapes, measurement and collecting and
organizing data. Third graders focus on learning multiplication and division concepts,
building strategies to solve problems, describing and classifying geometric shapes, measuring,
comparing and organizing data through charts and graphs.
