Second and Third Grade
- K-3 students gain exposure to the Spanish language through fun
activities that incorporate music, art and games.
They learn important basic skills like expressing their names, ages, likes and
dislikes.
They also learn vocabulary for colors, foods, clothing and weather.
In Spanish K-3, the emphasis is on the spoken word. The text is Un Poco de Todo, which is designed for elementary aged Spanish students.
Teachers also share Spanish picture books and stories.
